I drove along the roadway this past weekend when I went up to Santa Fe and Chimayo and stopped to take photos. <br /><br />Lisa and I discovered this place when I hid a letterbox at a remote but very ornate gateway a couple of years ago. There are large sandstone formations that we call "holy" rocks. Why? Because they have lots of holes, of course! It's a very cool area and is supposed to be opened to the public one day.
