That's great. It's also a good way to build her trust. Of course, she'll grow up wanting her butt scratched, but that's OK.

Ha ha! Foals are so funny about their scratchy spots. One of Lostine's babies used to back into me every time she saw me, because she wanted me to scratch her rump. At first I worried that she was backing into me to kick.
