And Mud of Many Acres on their Shoes

My old mud boots were getting torn on the sides so I decided I needed new ones. I was at Target the other day and came upon these:

Only $6.99 on sale!! Aren't they cute?

And then, the next time I went to Target they had these on sale:

These were $7.99, down from 29.99! They are fleece lined and the woolen band unrolls so I can roll it up my leg on snowy days and not get snow down my boots (which usually happens when the snow is higher than the boot top).

I'm so happy with my boots. I use them for walking the dogs as well as going to the barn so they get worn several times a day. Sorry for the poor photos.

Oooh! I'm loving yor new boots. The colorful ones are so adorable and fun!
And those second ones look so cozy and comfy. Congrats on the new boots, Fiona!
You deserve them. Those green ones were on their last leg (get it? lol!)

They're both nice boots, but around here, I'll take the fleece ones for now. That's a great price too.

I can't believe I actually have muck boot envy. lol
I mean really, they're just a pair of rubber boots.
But that first pair is soooo cute and the second looks so practical and warm.

Hey, you have fancy boots for those fancy muddy occasions and more functional boots when the mud is just plain mud.

Great price on both.

I like them both. My daughter left her rain boots here when she went away to college. I've been eyeballing them and considering wearing them, even though her feet are one size larger than mine. I wore my paddock boots to work today and was disgusted to have to look at manure each time I propped my leg up on my knee. I'm always in too much of a hurry to be lacing and unlacing shoes and boots, so I wear whatever I happen to have on out to the barn and into the office.

The funny thing is that every time I went to WalMart I would pick up a pair of the plain black boots and then think "No, they're too expensive", LOL, and put them back. I guess I really meant that they're not on sale and I really wanted something a bit nicer looking besides. Since I had my last cute pair, I didn't want to settle for the ugly black ones ever again. And I need to be on a budget. But I do wear them 3-6 times a day, or more, so I can justify the cost. I like to go barefoot around the house so for quick outdoor trips, it's mud boots in the winter and crocs in the summer.

Target has the best boots! I saw some there the other day! I always forget to go to target. It's way on the other side of town, so I don't get over there that often. I went the other day and spent way too much, so it's good that I don't go. But you got some killer deals on those boots!!
