Follow my journey into the future. I promise it will be full of random rants, travel and other photos, musical musings, especially BOWIE, general chaos, and all my animal family: four horses, three alpacas, three dogs, and three and a half cats.

Sunday Stills (08-14-11 Close-ups)
This week, the Sunday Stills challenge is Close-ups. Here are my offerings.
The first one is the neighborhood Bull Snake.
This is Nadia.
My daughter and I took a trip to the zoo last wek. Enjoy!
I'm really enjoying those animal close-ups. So many people go to the zoo and just get pics of the entire animal off in the distance. This is way more interesting.
Well I know the rhino isn't a close-up, but it's my favorite. It's interesting to see that the horn is so fuzzy at it's base. The primate paw is a cool shot, too.
But...NO, NO, NO...snake! gah! I hope he stays over on your side of the neighborhood. *shudder*

Nice shots, but the snake made me jump when I saw it! :)
Great shots, the Bull snake and monkey paw are fantastic!! :-)
Great shots! The last shot tells a story of its own! :D
I think I have to say that the primate paw/hand is the best shot, for me. It 'sucks me in' - I want to know more!

Well done- that last shot is my favorite. The rhino has interesting texture.
I am in awe. Beautiful work!!!
These are fantastic photos. I love visiting the zoo...so many photo opportunities!
Love them all. I like the giraffe and the paw best!

These are awesome! I love taking pictures at the zoo. :)
Great pictures. It's a good lesson that getting up close and personal is a good way to make interesting pictures.
Well done.
Dan
