Sunday Stills (wildflowers 4-24-11)

Happy Easter, everybody!

I haven't been out for the last week, so I used these photos I took a couple of weeks ago for the wildflower challenge.

There was a seed festival at the Old Town Square so all kinds of seeds were being offered for blessings at the church.

For more entries in the Sunday Stills challenge, please see here.

Sunday (4/4/10 Easter)

Today's Sunday Still's challenge was Easter.
What are they looking at?

A colorful pinwheel! And, with the wind we were having, it was spinning and spinning!

Doesn't Yalla! make a crazy little bunny?

Happy Easter from all of us!

Well, I said hello and I said hello

This morning when I went to the barn, there was a surprise! No, not Annie's foal- she's due on June 14th. Thank goodness, maybe it'll be warmer by then.

Everything was white! We often have white Easters up here in the mountains. Maybe that's why they use colored eggs!

There was a basket waiting for the horses. Since it was so cold and Annie was shivering, I gave them all a helping of carrots, corn, and sweet feed along with their breakfast hay. They didn't eat the egg though!
The horses wanted to pass along a neighborly Happy Easter to everyone!

Well, I said hello and I said hello - song: Width of a Circle, artist: David Bowie, album: The Man Who Sold the World

Easter

Christ has Risen! Hallelujah!!!

"Lord, by thy Cross and Resurrection thou hast redeemed the world."

We woke up to a snowy white morning. But...isn't it Christmas that everyone wishes for the white stuff?? Is that why the Easter Bunny hides colored eggs, so you can find them in the snow? lol.

I wish everyone a happy, wonderful Easter!
