Follow my journey into the future. I promise it will be full of random rants, travel and other photos, musical musings, especially BOWIE, general chaos, and all my animal family: four horses, three alpacas, three dogs, and three and a half cats.

You used to be a puppet dancer!
I came across this video today. I certainly hope he can get things turned around. Maybe this video has helped.
As it's Bowie related, I thought I'd post it. Enjoy!
You used to be a puppet dancer! - song: D.J., artist: David Bowie, album: Scary Monsters
"ok, slow down", i'm telling my man as he tells me what to type for you.
he loves queen, i've always admired bowie. i had no idea that they did this together. i'm such a loser.
now my man is on the floor looking thru our discs so he can find the original made by bowie and queen. we just listened.
now how could this possibly come up? i don't usually make my man read my friends' blogs. but tonight there was a puppet theme, and he is a fan of american children's shows (i woke up to tom and jerry this morning).
**pause**
ok back. we just watched the video together - the queen greatest hits - where they tribute bowie's ideas and contributions to the song.
now my man is telling me that bowie first sang this song on stage at the freddie mercury tribute concert, after he died.
he sang it with annie lennox and the remaining members of queen.
ok my man just showed me the live taping of annie lennox and david bowie performing together. i couldn't help but notice how she pressed her mouth against his chin, and curled her fingers around his neck at the end. she was very in love with this song, and bowie's voice was what made it for me.
now my man is telling me that bowie did the lord's prayer on that tribute concert...!!!
ok third comment on this post: my man is at the piano, with his sheet music, playing this song with all his heart. i'm thinking maybe the neighbors up the hill can hear him singing and playing.
Your comments make me smile! Yes, as I say, Bowie is more involved in EVERYTHING than anyone can ever imagine. I love the Lord's prayer he says during the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. Lol, I'm not sure if Annie is in love with the song or the man. hehee. But pro that he is, he never misses a beat. You should watch Bowie and Tina Turner duet on Tonight. Hot!! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1ygrw_davie-bowie-tina-turner-tonight_music
"The man on camera is one Sky Soleil. He is a comedian who works in Los Angeles. He does have a roof over his head. He doesn't actually have his own family. Yet. But while the funnyman isn't homeless, he's serious about the problem of homelessness.
The puppeteer told New York Magazine that he's been "Under Pressure" at times, and can relate. So much so, he worked with a friend to shoot the short (video)and bring the issue to light. It seems to have worked: The video has been viewed over 900,000 times."

I love this video! That man has serious puppetry talent. Such passion, too. He deserves some help and a job.

We've been duped!
Just read on Yahoo news:
