To paint that love

It's hard to believe it will be Easter tomorrow. The weather today is like winter, not spring! It snowed off and on all day with alternating winds and sometimes there was sunshine. However, today was a good day to color some eggs. My mom and my son did a grand job decorating them while I made desserts for tomorrow, carrot cake and chocolate cream cheese pie. Some years, I've painted all the eggs red in the Greek tradition, using onion skins. This is to symbolize the blood of Christ. This year, I wanted to do all colors. Didn't they do a good job? They're so pretty!

To paint that love - song: Memory of a Free Festival, artist: David Bowie, album: Space Oddity

Love the horsey egg!

Can't believe you are still having wintery weather. I guess when I think about NM, I think you would get warmer faster!

We had snow last weekend, but nice enough to ride today! Even got a little sunburned!

Those turned out great! I love the horse head ones, of course1 ;) I haven't done eggs in years. No children to inspire me to do it, I guess! Have a happy Easter. When is your mare having her foal?

The eggs are beautiful! I enjoyed seeing Trevor and your Mom, too. Happy faces...and such good artists, too.
I see those lovely horse horse heads there! :)

Let me know if you need some more eggs. The hens have been busy :)

Happy Easter, my friend!

I love seeing your mom and son coloring eggs together. What a special time. Don't tell my children, but they did a much better job than my kiddos. I guess they have a few years on them though. :)

Your desserts sound yummy.
