Vision of Y'Allah!

Yalla! has become very, very inquisitive. Everything must be investigated. The other evening I gave her a ball to play with. It's too big but she found it interesting anyway. She rattles the chain that latches her gate. She chews on ropes and mouths green plants. She plays in the water bucket and investigates her mom's hay.

Today, Lisa and I turned Annie and Yalla! out to play in the arena. Of course, they ran around a bit.

But Yalla! also investigated whatever she could find. She loves to chew and mouth everything because she is cutting teeth.

While we were outside, it rained a few drops and then a lovely rainbow appeared. You can just about see it next to Annie's profile. After we brought them back in, Yalla! lay down for a nap. She readily lays back for me now and contentedly put her head in my lap.
Lisa wanted to see her little teeth and hooves for some photos...
and there it was!Do you see it?

Now Jesus he came in a vision
And offered you redemption from sin
I'm not sayin' that I don't believe you
But are you sure that it really was him
I've been told that it could've been blue cheese
Or the meal that we ate down the road
Hallelujah

The picture with Yalla's head in your lap is priceless!! She is an absolute doll!
Now that is amazing, the picture you found in Yalla's hoof! What are the chances of that happening? Love it!

Shes so cute. Good to see shes growing into those pasterns but boy does she have long legs for a little thing. I think Annie holding her in made her grow some extra leg. lol.

The hoof image is incredible!

So what are you thinking for color? I was out with a friend who has 30 some foals. She can tell right away which ones will gray. She said to look above their eye for shades of gray.

It looks like Yalla is trying to eat Lisa's knee brace and your Crocs. They are like human babies in that they've got to explore their environment with their mouths.

Everyone, thanks for the compliments on Yalla!
I agree that she has incredibly long legs and yes, her pasterns look okay now. Whew! Not that I was worried...

I think she will be gray, primarily because her Mama is. Her coat is a nondescript, mousey brown, and she has a black and brown mane and tail. There are lots of white tail hairs too. I like how she has ripples and waves all over her body coat. There are waves extending out from her forehead, for example. Her mane is kinky and curly and it parts on both sides of her neck.

Just too adorable. I love the babies. You're so lucky to be able to have mom and baby to play with.

That was fun, as always. Playing with Yalla! makes me smile.
How annoying my voice was in that video, though. gah! I love seeing Yalla! and Annie run together, though.

I'm glad you were willing to sit in the manure beside Yalla! because those sweet moments captured in photos, of your beautiful foal, with her head in your lap are just priceless and so very special.
