Interesting contrasts: red dry rock, green mountains, topped off with white snow. You captured lots of pretty layers.

Dang, Val! Lisa told us what happened and I am so sorry! Hope you are doing well (as well as can be expected) and taking some time to heal. I've had both the fractured ankle & the tailbone... hate to tell you this, but the ankle heals a lot faster. The dr told me it could be a year or never! (gasp) for my tail bone to stop hurting. I could ride, but getting in and out of the car hurt & my office chairs. It was right about a year when I stopped hurting. Use a lot of pillows for support.

Take care & I'll check back on you soon.

So sorry to hear about your accident, Val. I hope both you and Scout can heal quickly. Loose dogs are such a pain. I just had to chase my neighbor's dog off my property today because it was trying to attack me while I was packing my truck.

I just read what happened over at Laughing Orca Ranch! I'm so sorry that happened to you. It must have been so terrifying. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and your son too. I couldn't imagine having to unlock the door to get my finger out. I hope they gave you some good medicine and you're doing okay.
