I've heard that the eruption of
Alaska's Kasatochi volcano last month is causing the vivid colors because of all the ash that was spewed into the atmosphere.
Kind of cool. :)
Thanks for the info on the volcano. I didn't know that. The mornings are beautiful- intense reds and oranges. You should get up earlier. ;) But then, so are the sunsets; you can always enjoy those.
