Full of folk who don't know me
And they walk in twos or threes or more
While the light that shines above the grocer's store
investigates my face so rudely
And my essays lying scattered on the floor
Fulfill their needs just by being there
And my hands shake, my head hurts,
my voice sticks inside my throat
I'm invisible and dumb,
no-one will recall me
But since I've been tagged, here goes:
- I was born in Japan. I lived there about two years, and no, I cannot speak Japanese nor do I look asian.
- I grew a half inch taller in my forties. I've always been 5' 4-1/2" and now I'm exactly 5'5".
- I'm allergic to horses and dogs, but not cats.
- I LOVE chocolate, and ice cream, and chocolate ice cream especially.
- I want to write a fictional book about my horse someday.
- I love going to movies and smelling the movie theater popcorn.

That's all interesting stuff. I'll play along, but you may have to be patient and wait for it. Thanks.
NM- I completely understand!
Actually, I detest these pass-along things.
How do you cope w/being allergic to horses? Do you sneeze? :)
Thanks for the tag! I will get it done this weekend. Speaking of weekends, have a good one! :)
Ok...I have grown an inch somewhere during the past 10 years too, so I do not think you are crazy...lol!!! I was always 5'4", but for some reason, I am now 5'5"!
I am sorry about your allergies. I have not had any trouble with mine, and have been off of the Zyrtec with no hives, since August. I am so happy!!!
So you want to write a story, eh??? Is that what you are studying in college (writing/lit)?
Chocolate??? Are you kidding me??? I have to have something that has chocolate on/in it everyday...no joke...lol!!!
PG- I took shots for a while until I had a life threatening reaction (caused by medication for my Graves Disease). Now I just take tylenol when I am going to be outside for an extended time. I usually just get headaches and itchy, watery eyes.
No, I'm not studying literature, I just think my horse could be a great story.
I live for my daily dose of chocolate too.
I like those David Bowie lyrics.
Yup. Love chocolate! Brownies are my favorite. The fudgier, the better.
I also like movie theater popcorn. Maybe not so much the smell, but the taste, yum!
I'd better not grow any taller, though. I'm already rubbing 6'! lol!
Oh, and you've already written one great book. You've really got to get your "Paddling the Labyrynth Canyon" published, Val. It's GOOD!
I think you really oughta go for your horse book goal, too. I think you'd do great! :)

I want to...just need to find time, or just do it, I guess.
Yeah, great lyrics, huh? He often sings about depression and isolation rather than traditional love songs.
