A Labyrinth fan video

While I was YouTubing (is that a word? if not, it should be) I came upon this little video made by a fan of David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly in Labyrinth to the music, Wicked Game.

What is interesting about Cormak, the maker of the video, is she also has video of her "42 year old" horse, Tempa. Amazing!!

Go here and here for more video on her Arab cross gelding, Tempa. He looks (and acts) pretty good for 42!!

"Wicked Games": Awesome, Awesome song. I haven't head that one for a long time. It was worth watching that video if only for the song, but the video was really cool.

The theme seemed to be heavy on "The Eyes are Windows to the Soul". Such emotion in those eyes, eh?

Hey! Thanks again for loaning us that movie this summer so we could watch it.
Really enjoyed it. :)

Wow, that 42 yr old horse looks amazing. Arabian, right?
Arabians must have endurance in their longevity, too.

I hope Nadia and Annie both live to be 42 yrs old, too. :)

Labyrinth is a great movie; never mind that it features HIM. ;)

I do believe Arabian blood gives longevity as well as endurance to horses. My Annie's father, AH Gallant, for instance, was raced and then shown at Halter. Then he was used for stud. Then, at sixteen, he was sold and so he was shown at Halter again. He placed in "Top Tens". Then he went back to the breeding shed. :)
I know of an Arabian horse that began racing at 13 and did very well for many years.
Arabians only really begin to settle down in their teens. My Annie is 15 and will have her first foal next summer. Then I can think about what career she should begin next. I'm thinking trail riding or barrel racing...

White_Lily- thanks for visiting!

Thanks so much everyone for the kind words on my old boy, Tempa.

I was afraid I was going to lose him over the summer, but thankfully the vet was able to help and he is as good as new and just as spunky. He continues to amaze me. He has gotten a little fanclub online over the years!

Some photos of him and my other horses can be found here:

As for Labryinth, it's been so long since I have seen the movie. Still listening to Bowie, though! :)
