The Fallen Leaves

It's that time of year again, Fall. Is it called Fall because of all the falling leaves? If it isn't, then it should be!

Last weekend, my son and I went to my Mother-in-law's, who lives in town, to pick up leaves. Along with my MIL and my Sister-in-law, the four of us had quite a party. And there's still more leaves on the tree!

The oddest thing about this tree, this year, is that the leaves didn't change color. They just froze and fell off, overnight!

Whew! I bet you were tired. And I've never seen leaves just fall off, still green. That's kind of cool. Good thing Jenna wasn't there, eh?
lol!

By the way, I'm loving the new look to your blog. The snowy tree scene is just so pretty! :)

And, what do you think about heading down to Bosque del Apache on Saturday? John will hang out at home with Jenna that day, so it will just be me and the boys and you (and any of your kids that want to go, too.)
I think I'm ready for a green chile hamburger and Sandhill Cranes now. lol! :)

Thanks, those trees are the same ones from the "Like the snow that fell" post. They're in my backyard and they're just perfect for photos!

Yeah, that was 15 bagfuls (extra large yard bags). Whew, we probably need to go again and get the rest of them bagged up by now.

Ok...I am glad that you explained the freezing and falling off thing, because I was starting to think that you had some strange trees over there in NM...lol!!!
