This is looking to the west from my kitchen window. My barn is at the far right. This photo was taken just a few days ago. Almost all of the snow is gone now.
Because of the snow, Gunnar and Daisy had to stay inside. I took the opportunity to get some pictures of Daisy.
Terra was showing exceptional attitude. Not to be left out, here's Gunnar.
And, of course, here's Buddha. He is giving High 5's. You can see how hairy his toes are in the last photo. He spreads his claws like a cat.

Love your mountain view! Still can't believe all the snow! Thanks for sharing your sights!
(I used to have horses named Daisy & Gunner!)
LOL on Daisy and Gunner. My dogs are German Shorthair Pointers, hunting dogs, so we thought the names fit them.
Gunnar is such a Swedish name (Daisy isn't though)! Any Scandinavian blood that runs through your veins, Val?
I love your world! The snow is brilliant under a blue sky - we got that so seldom when I was in Sweden that I don't miss the winters at all. Until I see beautiful pictures like these!!
Greetings from Niger,

Look at all of that snow!!!! And while all of your pets' are lovely, Buddha is just the cutest little thing ever!!! I just want to pick him up and give him kisses...lol!!!!
Very nice Val. Great pictures and I love your animals.

Lovely Views , all!
I also love that stone wall, so would my husband!
Are those little birds Starlings? Singing all songs of neighboring feathered and sometimes electronic friends?
I adore your kitty!!!

Can't believe all that snow! We didn't see much (if any) of that storm that dumped on you. Made for some pretty pictures, that's for sure.
Wow! That is such a stunning photo of Daisy (the second one), but both photos are really great!
Terra is full of Catitude, eh? What a face! hah!
Buddha is such a cutie. He does quite a few tricks, hmm?
Was our stone wall built at the same time as yours? I love ours, too. There is something so rugged and natural about it. I think we have mice living in the crevices as we've seem them peek out.
Which would explain why we had a small bull snake slither into a crack between the rocks last Spring. lol!
Gotta love nature, eh?

AHS, thanks, I thought they might be starlings but I wasn't really sure. One of them likes to fly around with one of our resident ravens/crows(?) all the time. Again, I am not really sure which they are. I call them crows but I've heard that they are ravens. I've been trying to get pictures of them but they are camera shy. Several of them like to hang out in my barn with the horses.
Lisa, I would imagine Scott and Chuck (your house's original neighbor) built the walls at the same time. They did lots of projects together- like the fences and the barns, including the water pipes and electricity, even the concrete work- your basketball court, for example. The only thing that stopped them was money, or lack of...
Thanks, everyone on your generous comments. I am still learning to take pictures so you'll just have to put up with the poor quality. lol.
