Not nothing new

I took my camera out this morning to get some shots of the horses eating. The sun was wrong and they're not that good but here they are. First, here are Scout and Yalla! Yalla! is buddies with everybody. She follows Nadia around all the time and likes to hang out with Scout over the fence.
I'm really glad that Yalla! inherited the short little triangular head from her daddy and like Nadia. Annie's head is longer.Look at that bushy forelock Yalla! has already! She's going to be my mane and tail horse!
Notice the tufts of hair under Nadia's belly? Whenever she walks, loose hairs fly off. I'll be glad when they are fully shedded out.See how long Yalla!'s tail is already.Yalla! has turned a dull brown but she still has lots of thick baby/winter fur. I wonder what she'll look like this summer.

Nice pictures. Actually, I like back lighting in pictures. You did a good job.

Naidia really does remind me of my Naigen everything you describe I swear they are twins. Naigen also had these hilarious tufts that hair would fly out of. She would roll and leave a big patch of white hair behind like it snowed. It took her forever to shed out so about this time of year I would shave her legs or her cannon kerotosis would get bad,

Foals and fillies grow so quickly! I can't believe how big Isolde and Kalahari have grown, time just flies... Yalla! is coming around beautifully!

Chance has turned a dull brown too, I just thought it was because when I curry her all that nasty ground in dirt came up and she looks terrible. This is my first baby horse, so I am not sure what is normal. She has been de-wormed and is getting the proper feed.
Love Yalla!'s forelock!! Chance has a really long mane and tail, her forelock is sorta long and bushy!!

Yalla! has a gorgeous head. She's turning into a beautiful filly. Seems to take the best from both her Mama and Daddy. :)

I just love reading you blog! We are oohing and ahhing over the same exact things with our babies. :D Sorry I haven't been commenting. I still have 223 blog posts in my Google Reader. I don't think I'll ever catch up!

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and tell you I think Yalla! is just adorable and I love her cute little short triangle face. :)
